Over the last couple of weeks, we have hopefully raised your awareness of what Intersex is and some of the atrocities that providers and families have perpetrated on this population. Here are a couple of books written by intersex persons and the impact of the medically unnecessary surgeries, lies, shame, and mental health issues that their treatment has caused.
